'Dangerous offender' wanted in connection with police officer assaults

A man is being sought by police in connection with an incident in which two police officers were assaulted.

Darryl Cooke, 31, is wanted by police following an incident in August in Preston where a property was damaged. Police attended the scene with two officers assaulted.

In January police received a further report of historic assaults against a woman in Preston, with Cooke wanted in connection with the allegations.

“The public should not approach him. If you know where he is, please ring us immediately.”

Anyone with information can contact police on 101 quoting log 0210 of August 28. In an emergency call 999.
