Man knocked unconscious after falling to ground in fight outside bar

A MAN has been knocked unconscious after falling to the ground during a fight outside a Southampton bar.

Police were called at around 1.05am this morning after the incident outside Sharkey’s Sports Bar on Above Bar Street.

Officers say he was involved in a verbal altercation before being attacked.

The victim, a 24-year-old, was knocked to the floor, hitting his head on the ground.

This caused him to lose consciousness.

Now the force has released an image of a man they would like to speak to.

He is described as white, aged 25 to 35, 6ft and of medium build.

He was wearing a black and white coat and a Hoodrich t-shirt with a tattoo on his arm.
