Anne Hathaway continues to live out every single one of our fashion fantasies, during her recent style renaissance.
Her latest outfit once again proves that she is one of the most exciting (and stylish) A-listers in the game right now, especially when she’s clad in Valentino.
The actress has become a fashion power player
The 40-year-old actress literally dazzled onlookers at the Italian couturier’s Spring/Summer 2023 show in a beaded leopard print mini-dress which was bedecked in thousands of sparkling crystals. The Batman star channelled her ‘Catwoman’ alter ego, giving Selina Kyle a run for her money in the feline inspired pattern. Featuring spaghetti straps, a square neckline and figure hugging silhouette, it’s one of her sultriest looks yet. Purrr.
Anne wore an intricately beaded Valentino leopard print dress
Clearly she’s not afraid to take risks, and the addition of matching sheer embellished leopard print tights, leopard print shoes, and an equally dazzling handbag (also leopard of course) was… goals. The moment would have made her on screen The Devil Wears Prada boss Miranda Priestly, very proud. If that’s not enough she paired the look with statement Bulgari earrings, for maximum effect.
She has become one of Valentino’s most vocal champions
Anne has become the ultimate Valentino poster girl, after almost single handedly starting the Barbiecore craze in her pink-mini dress and sky-high platforms at their Haute Couture Autumn/Winter 2022/23 show last year. Featuring long sleeves, a playful mini silhouette, a high neckline, ruffled bustier and all-over Barbie pink sequin material, the dress was one of Anne’s most hypnotic looks to date. Somehow she made the saccharine colour look modern, rather than pantomime… and the rest of us quickly followed suit with Valentino’s signature pink hue dominating the fashion agenda in 2022.
“Anne Hathaway is clearly doing the press rounds and her stylist Erin Walsh needs a raise. Having gone fairly under the radar in the style stakes in recent years, it’s so nice to see her embrace her true inner Andy Sachs,” Hello! Fashion’s Style Editor Laura Weatherburn said at the time.
So what are the chances that we will all be wearing leopard print everything in 2023? Very likely.
