Kym Marsh is over the moon after revealing that she has become a grandmother again.

The ex Coronation Street actress – who recently signed up for the new series of Strictly Come Dancing – took to social media to share her delight and give fans a glimpse at her new grandson.

Uploading a slew of black and white images, plus, a video of the adorable new arrival, she gushed: “Introducing…..Clayton Lenny David Cunliffe!!! Our beautiful new grandson was welcomed into the world on 17.08.22 weighing a whopping 10lb 7oz!!”

The 47-year-old former Hearsay singer went on to praise her son David and his partner, saying: “You are already incredible parents and he is a very lucky little boy!! We love you so much.”

Addressing young Clayton, she cooed: “You are so so loved already by so many and we are so very lucky to be your YaYa and Pop.

“What adventures you have before you little one, we can’t wait to watch you grow… just don’t grow up too fast!!!

“We love you with all of our hearts,” she added, followed by a red love heart emoji.

Fellow Coronation Street stars took to the comments to offer their congratulations.

Leanne Battersby actress Jane Danson expressed her surprise at the size of the baby, saying “wow 10 pounds 7 !!!”, while Charlie Condou, who played Marcus Dent, said “Ah my darling, congratulations to all of you!! He’s gorgeous xx”.

Hollyoaks actress Susie Amy, who starred alongside Kym in a UK tour of Fatal Attraction earlier this year also commented, praising the ‘beautiful news’.

Marsh – who has three children of her own – has been a “YaYa” since 2019, following the birth of her first grandson, Teddy, from daughter Emilie.

At the time, she made it clear that the titles “grandma” or “nanny”were not for her, so actively looked up alternative names for grandparents and settled on “YaYa”.
