This Morningco-host Willoughby, 41, has been nominated for the TV Presenter award every year for the last four years, but has not made the final cut in 2022.
Hammond, 47, who hosts the ITV programme on Fridays and the holidays with Dermot O’Leary, has been made the shortlist of nominated TV presenters for the second time in a row.
Hammond shared on Instagram: “Me being nominated for A NTA and believing my own Hype!!! Could this be the year Ant and Dec hand over the gong to me #dreams
“Thanks to everyone who nominated me honestly over the moon.”
However, 57-year-old Morgan did not bother to attend the ceremony, as the NTA for Best Presenter – which is voted for by the public – has been won by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly every year that the awards have taken place since 2001.
Morgan shared a picture of his bare feet propped up on his coffee table as he watched the awards ceremony from the comfort of his sofa.
Morgan boasted: “Got a cracking seat. #NTAs.”
Prior to the awards he had said: “I deserve to win because everyone’s sick and tired of Ant and Dec automatically winning this award, which bears no relation to reality.
“They’ve done nothing special in the last year, even they would admit that. I think it’s time the procession came to a shuddering halt and the Morgan bandwagon was rewarded with glory.”
The 27-year-old has played Frankie Lewis in the BBC One soap since 2020 as the soap’s first regular deaf cast member.
Strictly’s Anton Du Beke is up for Talent Show Judge after making his debut as a permanent panellist last year. He is in the running against Britain’s Got Talent’s David Walliams, The Masked Singer‘s Mo Gilligan and Drag Race UK star Ru Paul.
