The incident took place at a Taco Bell drive-thru around 11:30 p.m. TikToker @emily._.stott claimed that she waited 40 minutes in line, along with dozens of other drivers, because the customer ahead of her placed a massive order.
This Brooklyn home office gets a California-inspired makeover with just $1,000:
“This is the order of the person who was in front of me at Taco Bell. The Taco Bell drive-thru was stacked and I had to tell ’em why the line was being held up,” the video text read.
In the clip, she got out of her car, which was still in line at the drive-thru. There were dozens of cars behind her. She shouted that the driver ahead of her had ordered $300 worth of tacos (although the receipt screenshot actually said $241).
When asked in the comments how long it took, the TikToker stated, “40 mins I was in line and after I yelled the person who ordered all that s*** looked embarrassed AF and used her hand to cover her face. 40 MIN.”
Most people felt like the customer should have known better.
“When I worked at Taco Bell if they made orders like that we told them they had to call ahead and we canceled their order,” a TikToker replied.
“If you’re not gonna let them know ahead of time at least go inside instead of going through the drive-thru,” another added.
“I ordered one of everything off the TB menu once but at least I ordered inside and ahead of time,” someone said.
“You’re too real for acknowledging that the wait was all on him not warning the workers,” a user wrote.
